About The Alma

Set at the foot of the Tonsleys, a stone’s throw from Wandsworth Town Station, The Alma is a fine example of a beautiful Victorian pub! With its shiny green outside tiles and second floor dome, it is an unmissable landmark on the Villagey feel of Old York Road.

Step inside and the buzzing central bar with its bare wood floors & unique hand-made furniture give way to our cosy and inviting Dining Room. With 2 pull down projector screens The Alma is an amazing venue for watching major sporting events from the Footbal World Cup to the Guinness Premiership Final.

Long associations with rugby, both with local teams and as the essential stop off for the Internationals at Twickenham, have earned our reputation as being THE place in SW London to soak up the atmosphere for the whole day.

With our Private Function Room available for hire and Seasonally changing menus we are able to cater for all parties and meetings.
