The Punch Tavern Fleet Street is a British Pub and Restaurant steeped in history.The venue is Grade II listed, with beautiful 19th Century features.They are famous for their home made, fresh British food, boasting such accolades as ‘Gold Medal in The Guild of Fine Food, Great Taste Awards 2009 for Pies’ and ‘Best Pub Food in London’ in The Morning Advertiser’s Great British Pub Awards 2008.
Head Chef Dee Whooley (Ex Mark Emberton student) has selected some of London’s best suppliers of Meat, Veg and Fruit, sourcing from UK, Free Range Farms wherever possible. He makes his own Pies, Chips, Soups, Salads, Burgers, Roasts all his own Meats and Hams daily! The Fish is fresh, not frozen and food is prepared daily on the premise.
The team at The Punch also cater for parties and groups, they have a private function room that caters for up to 80 people and hire out the whole venue for groups up to 250 people. The venue is very popular for corporate functions, group dining, tour groups, charity fundraisers, weddings, quiz nights, wine tasting evenings, casino nights and much more.
