About Brook Green Hotel

The Brook Green is steeped in history and has stood at this site since 1886 underneath the hotel is a running brook, which still flows to this day.<br>The hotel was originally used as a coach house and by the 1930?s had been separated into several sections to allow for the separation of classes. It was also a major part of the local community with various popular artists of the day using it?s facilities to showcase their talents, a different act could be enjoyed every night of the week from comedians through to sopranos coming together to entertain.<br>The BBC used the Brook Green to broadcast organ recitals in the popular salon bar which at one point in time even included a performance by Mr W J Kerley who was the landlord of the day!<br>
